Ppr disease:-

Ppr disease is also known as pestes des petits ruminants (PPR). It is a viral disease of goat and sheep characterized by sore throat ,fever and diarrhoa and pneumonia and some times death 
It is caused by morbilivirus ,a type of paramyxoviridae family ..this diseasee resemble with renderpest .

Treatment:- basically it is treated as by sedative and fluid therapy as well as by ketoject for temperature ..faljil for diarhoa nad also wash the mouth infection by cotton .infected animals is kept away from the others so other goats should be protected ..salyvet is also given for energy .there is a vaccine but it is done before diseasee

Today i want to discuss the deworming process.do you know what is deworming .simply the removal of worms is called deworming  ..actually there are worms in the stomach of goat sheep ,cow or buffallo .these worms are actual cauae of weakness of annimals ,as these worms eat the feed which is eate en by the animals ..so these worms should be remove by deworming ..we use many dewormers like albendazole mebendazole etc these should not be used during pregnancy of 45 days as they are injurious to health .
